I'd read a book like this is I were looking for a job. My main questions would be, How is it different from other job-seeking books, and How does it specifically apply to older job seekers?
Well I was hoping the intro would answer those questions, but...
The book is different because it's not just about resumes and interviews and salary negotiation like every other job book, including those with "Over 50" in the title. It's about changing your mindset and how that can change how you look at every challenge you face.
As for how it specifically applies to older people? Those are the people I'm interviewing and getting their stories for the book; I'm asking HR people and recruiters how they think things are different for older people; and my perspective as an older job seeker is infused throughout.
Being in education, I love the idea of saying yes to learning at any age and reading about individuals whose careers (and lives in general) have evolved into more meaningful journeys would be fun. Inspiring stories about worthy and interesting people? I’m in! Add some humor? I will send a book to my best friend!

It sounds like a great book! I'm just not familiar with what's in job-hunting books these days.

Thanks Natalie. I will try to make sure there's some humor in the book.
A penguin comes into a bar. He says to the bartender, "Have you seen my brother?"
The bartender says, "I don't know. What does he look like?"
